Enjoy events for all ages—from winter fun to summer festivals and community gatherings—featuring cultural, recreational, historical, and family-friendly activities, many free or low-cost so everyone can take part.

In 2026, Alleyn & Cawood (Danford Lake) will celebrate its 150th anniversary, and the municipality is inviting residents to get involved by volunteering, sharing ideas, and contributing historical memorabilia. A first community information and volunteer meeting will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Municipal Hall. Everyone is welcome. Preventive fire safety home inspections will take place in the new year. Residents will be notified in advance by letter. These visits will focus on checking smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The 2026 municipal budget and the 2026 waste calendar are now available on the municipal website. Please note that the Municipal Office will be closed from December 23 at noon until January 5. The Municipality wishes everyone a happy holiday season and a very happy New Year!
