Word from the Mayor,  Sidney Squitti

I would like to sincerely thank all residents for the confidence you have placed in me to serve as your Mayor. It is a true honour to represent the community where I was born and raised.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa and have had the privilege of serving as a municipal councillor for the past 12 years. As a proud mother of two boys, I understand the importance of building a strong, supportive, and vibrant community for our families and future generations.

My priorities as Mayor are focused on evaluation, taxation, tourism, and community. These are key areas that will help guide our growth, strengthen our local economy, and ensure fairness and transparency in our municipal affairs.

Our municipality is a special place, filled with dedicated people and a strong sense of belonging. I am committed to continuing the work of strengthening our community and ensuring that every voice is heard.

Together, we can continue to build a bright and thriving future for everyone.

Council Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm.

If it is a Holiday, the meeting will be on the Tuesday.

Council meetings are held at the municipal hall located at 10 Jondee road.
